Been a while, angry about new things

So Obama won. Yay! Prop 8 passed. Boo! We all know marriage will come eventually, it is a matter of time. Just need the "great generation" to die off.

But I want to talk about Obama's recent picks.

I have no qualms about Hilary being Sec. of State. I feel that she has experience meeting with heads of state and will be great in this sector (despite her main platform has always been universal health care.)

Yesterday Mr. Obama announced that Rick Warren will be giving the invocation at his inaugaration. For those that don't know, Warren is the paster at a sensational church in Lake Forest. He gives sermons from the pulpits supporting war as well as bigotry. Warren supported Prop 8 and has likend gay relationships to incest, polygany, and pedophilia.

Is this the message Obama wants to send as he begins his term? Obama ran on a platform of inclusion that promised to value every person in this country. Why would he choose someone that spouts hate and calls it religion. I realize Obama was trying to appeal to the conservatives with this pick, but Obama seems to have sacrificed nearly nine million people in the process.

Shame on you President-Elect Obama!

So I'm feeling political today

I have listened to several speeches from the DNC on iTunes. Gore's speech was amazing as was President Clinton. Now, I did not vote for Barack but I certainly will be voting for him this November.
